Guide: optimizing your schedule coverage rate
How to guarantee the right number of employees at every time slot through predictive analysis.

What is the coverage rate?
The coverage rate measures the match between planned staffing and actual needs. A rate of 100% means every time slot is covered by the optimal number of employees. Below that is understaffing; above is overstaffing — both are costly situations.
Analyze historical data
Orkelis analyzes your activity history to identify recurring peaks and troughs: days of the week, times of year, seasonal events. This data feeds Athena's predictive model.
Define needs per time slot
For each time slot, define the minimum required staffing, optimal staffing, and maximum staffing. Athena generates schedules that respect these thresholds while minimizing costs.
Dashboards and alerts
The coverage dashboard shows the real-time coverage rate by day and time slot. Automatic alerts warn you of imminent understaffing, giving you time to react.
