Why sync with Google Calendar?
Syncing with Google Calendar allows each team member to view their Orkelis schedule directly in their personal calendar. No more juggling between two apps: shifts, changes, and swaps are reflected in real time.
Step-by-step setup
1. Access integrations
In Orkelis, go to Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar. Click 'Connect' to start the OAuth2 authentication flow.
2. Authorize access
Google will ask you to authorize Orkelis to access your calendar. We don't read or modify your personal events — only Orkelis shifts are added.
3. Choose the target calendar
Select the calendar where you want your schedules to appear. We recommend creating a dedicated "Orkelis" calendar for better readability.
Bidirectional sync
The sync is bidirectional: changes made in Orkelis are reflected in Google Calendar, and unavailabilities set in Google Calendar are taken into account by the Athena engine when generating schedules.
